What about non-surgical rhinoplasty or “liquid rhinoplasty”?
With the advent of the new soft tissue fillers minor asymmetries and little “dents and dings” of the nose can be corrected with dermal fillers without the requirement of general anesthesia. Dr. Hamrah offers this option only in select cases where little corrections need to be done that normally would not warrant a surgical procedure. Depending on the irregularities of the nose there are several dermal fillers that are suitable.
How long will the procedure take?
The majority of rhinoplasty procedures are conducted within an hour. However, the procedure may take upwards of three hours in patients necessitating extreme makeovers.
What type of anesthesia will be used?
Dr. Hamrah performs rhinoplasty on an outpatient basis and uses general anesthesia for the majority of operations.
