Same Day Dental Implants
Advances in dental implant technology have made it possible for you to receive your new teeth in just one day. This revolutionary new procedure was nearly impossible a few years ago, but now thousands of people a year are benefiting from the ability to have their dental implants and prosthetic teeth placed in one office visit.
Same day dental implants offer you a much less invasive procedure than traditional dental implants, and there are no bone grafts required. Bone grafts take several months to heal, delaying the completion of your procedure considerably. During this time, you would be forced to endure poorly fitting, temporary dentures. With same day dental implants, you can be fit with customized, hand-crafted replacement teeth right away.
At your initial consultation, board certified Washington, D.C. oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Daria Hamrah will evaluate your unique condition to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for same day dental implants.
At NOVA SurgiCare, we use the Teeth-in-a-Day system. This system uses 3D digital imaging technology to plan the placement of your dental implants and facilitate the construction of your new prosthetic teeth.
The digital impression of your mouth and jaw will be sent to the dental lab for use in the creation of your new replacement teeth. Once your new teeth have been completed, you will visit our office so that Dr. Hamrah can perform your Teeth-in-a-Day procedure.
Teeth-in-a-Day is performed using local anesthesia as well as customized sedation and general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art surgery center. Dr. Hamrah will strategically place a series of dental implants throughout your mouth in order support your new prosthetic teeth. Your new teeth will then be attached to the implants. In just one office visit, you will have a permanent set of replacement teeth which will function just like your natural ones.
NOVA SurgiCare works with the finest labs to ensure that your same day dental implants deliver exceptional results that, when properly cared for, can last a lifetime.
