What is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift is a surgical procedure in which the skin of your forehead is tightened, lifted, and smoothed to eliminate wrinkles, deep creases, and even sagging eyebrows. Traditionally, brow lifts have been fairly invasive, resulted in significant recovery times, and come with the risk of visible scars. Dr. Daria Hamrah is pleased to offer our patients in and around Northern Virginia the endoscopic brow lift to reduce risks, speed recovery, and minimize scarring without sacrificing remarkable results.

About Endoscopic Brow Lifts

An endoscopic brow lift requires only very small incisions made near the hairline. Through these incisions an endoscope is used to elevate and lift your forehead and brow before placing resorbable plastic screws for structural support.

Once completed, Dr. Hamrah will close the incisions with dissolving stiches before applying a bandage to your head. During your short recovery period you may experience some discomfort and swelling, but this should subside within a few days. Due to the use of smaller incisions and endoscopic technology, serious risks and complications are greatly reduced, but you will still need to follow all of Dr. Hamrah
